CCHC Swimming Lesson Membership and Online Registration Policy
A Capital City Health Club (CCHC) membership is required to participate in swimming lessons with the CCHC Aquatics Program. Following is the policy for memberships when registering for swimming lessons.
NOTE: The online registration system will allow this temporary registration without a membership. By completing the purchase of swimming lessons, you agree to sign up for a membership with CCHC. If you later elect not to sign up for a membership, your registration fee will NOT be refunded.
If you DO NOT have a CCHC membership at the time of online class registration:
Memberships must be set up by the 25th of the month prior to the start of your first scheduled lessons. Any exception to obtaining your membership by the 25th will be considered by reaching out to Kayme May, Aquatics Director, at kmay@capcity.club, prior to the 25th. Failure to establish CCHC membership by the 25th will result in forfeiture of the registered lesson slot(s), and a refund will NOT be issued. A courtesy reminder email will be sent out. For adults registered for private lessons, an adult-only membership will need to be set-up. (see Swimming FAQs for a full list of swimming lesson benefits for memberships).
Enter “TBD” in the Membership ID field when registering for lessons online. Once your membership is created and you’ve been issued a Membership ID, you will need to email a picture of your CCHC keyring card with your Membership ID to the Aquatics Manager, Kayme May (kmay@capcity.club), to attach your membership to your swimming lessons registration record.
If you DO have a CCHC membership at the time of online class registration:
Please enter your Membership ID from your CCHC keyring card in the required field during the online registration process.
Memberships will be automatically taken off “hold” status and accounts charged the first day of the month of lessons. The fee amount will be pro-rated (if needed) based on the billing date on the account AND based on the adult(s) already listed on the membership plus the number of children signed up for lessons. Adults signing up for a private lesson will be charged for their adult-only membership fee unless there are children on the account also participating in lessons. Note: The credit card on file will be auto-charged.
Children enrolled in swimming lessons will automatically be added to your membership account for that month of lessons if they are not currently listed on your CCHC membership account. Note: The credit card on file will be auto-charged if there is a fee required. It is the Member’s responsibility to remove children from the membership at the end of the month.
Additional CCHC Aquatics swimming lesson registration policies:
Swimming lessons are non-refundable.
Make-up lessons are not available for missed lessons.

IMPORTANT:
⚠️You MUST have the Competitive Practice option added to your account OR a Confirmation email for a Swimming Lesson as you talk to the membership consultant to take advantage of the month-to-month no-contract membership option below.⚠️
Families have access to all our standard memberships. The following are the two main options many currently take advantage of for swimming lessons (adults age 13+, kids under 13, No kids over 23):
A single month membership option (i.e., membership expires after one month) is $105 for one parent and up to 3 kids under 13. Note: See Membership Desk for more pricing information if your family has different household combinations than what is listed.
A month-to-month no-contract membership option with recurring payments and no cancelation or joiner fee ( i.e., a credit card on file is charged automatically every month), with varying prices based on the following:
Single adult + 1 kid under 13: $55
Single adult + 2 or 3 kids under 13: $87
2 adults + up to 3 kids under 13: $127
Up to 5 adults (2 adults and 3 adult kids) + up to 3 kids $125
An approved “Caregiver” adult can bring the child in for lessons/practices. They MUST sign the waiver at the front desk each time they enter the facility and can only be in the pool area where the child is taking lessons/practicing. No other club access allowed unless a guest pass is purchased.
What if I need to have more adults and/or children than what is listed above? • To add a 6th adult (or more) to the membership, you will be charged an additional $10/mo. per person 13+ • To add a 4th child (or more) to the membership, you will be charged an additional $5/mo. per child 12 and under

The only difference is those families participating in Swimming Lessons & Competitive Practice get to take advantage of the benefits listed above; otherwise, the membership is the same.
