ABOUT YOUR LESSON
Each session is divided into four skill levels to help ensure participants receive instruction that best matches their current abilities. Please register the participant for the level that best describes their current swimming skills based on the descriptions below.
🐠 Goldfish: Participant can NOT go underwater, can blow bubbles, can be away from their caregiver, and can wall walk with support.
🐢 Turtles: Participant can comfortably submerge underwater, swim two body lengths independently, can float on their back with minimal assistance, and jump off the side of the pool, requiring support only for catching after the jump.
🐬 Dolphins: Participant can swim 4-5 body lengths independently and return to the wall without assistance, can tread water for 15-30 seconds, and can jump from the poolside independently before returning to the wall on their own.
🐋 Whales: Participant can swim 15-20 yards or more, does not need any assistance in the water, can tread water for 30-60 seconds, and is fully independent in the water.
